Data Deletion Policy

Last updated July 27, 2026
You're in control of your data. This page explains how to request deletion, what actually happens to your information, and what we're required to keep.
On this page

1. Overview

You can request that Eric's 3D Services delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to do that, what we delete, what we're required to retain, and how this works if you've ever signed in with a third-party account like Google or Discord.

2. Requesting deletion

The fastest way to request deletion is directly from your account -- no ticket needed:

Go to Account Settings →

Under Your data, you can request deletion of your account directly. You'll need to confirm by typing DELETE, and we'll send you a confirmation email so there's a record of the request.

If you can't access your account -- for example, it's already been deleted, or you never created one but believe we hold information about you -- contact us using the support form or the email address at the bottom of this page. We'll ask for enough information to verify it's really your data before acting on the request, since we won't delete someone's account just because a stranger asked.

3. What happens after you request it

Deletion isn't instant -- it's scheduled 30 days out from when you request it. We do this on purpose: it gives you a real window to change your mind (you can cancel the pending deletion from the same Account Settings page at any time before that date) and it protects you from someone else triggering deletion on your account by mistake or out of malice.

Once the 30 days pass, the deletion runs automatically. There's no further action needed on your part, and no further email warning right before it happens -- the 30-day notice you get at request time is the only warning, so don't request deletion unless you're sure.

4. What gets deleted

When your account is purged, we replace your personal identifying information with anonymized placeholders across our systems. This includes:

  • Your profile: name, email, and phone number on your account.
  • Saved addresses: these are hard-deleted, not anonymized -- they're removed outright since they have no ongoing business purpose once your account is gone.
  • Linked sign-in accounts: any Google, Facebook, Twitch, Discord, or Instagram connection on file is removed. See section 6 for more on this.
  • Stored authentication data: your password and any active sessions.

5. What we keep, and why

Some records are anonymized rather than destroyed. Your past orders, quotes, and support tickets stay in our systems with the personal details scrubbed out, because they have real, ongoing business and legal value that doesn't depend on knowing it was you:

  • Order, quote, and ticket history: kept for accounting, tax records, and fraud prevention, with your name/email/phone replaced by an anonymized placeholder. The order itself (what was bought, when, for how much) stays; who bought it doesn't.
  • Payment and transaction records: required for bookkeeping and tax compliance, retained per applicable financial recordkeeping laws.
  • Security and fraud-prevention logs: kept long enough to protect our systems and other customers from abuse.

We don't keep any of this longer than necessary for these specific purposes, and none of it is used to re-identify you or re-contact you once your account is deleted.

6. Third-party sign-in (Google, Facebook, Twitch, Discord, Instagram)

Eric's 3D Services supports signing in with Google, Facebook, Twitch, and Discord, and verifying an Instagram Business/Creator account as part of an affiliate application. When you connect one of these, we receive and store basic profile information from that provider -- typically your name or username, a unique account ID, and (depending on the provider) an email address or, for Instagram specifically, your username.

If you delete your Eric's 3D Services account, this stored information is deleted along with everything else in section 4.

Disconnecting a provider without deleting your whole account: you don't have to delete your entire account just to remove one connected sign-in method. Go to Account Settings → Linked accounts and click Disconnect next to any provider. This removes that connection from our side immediately, without scheduling a deletion or affecting the rest of your account.

This does not revoke access on the provider's side. Disconnecting Google, Facebook, Twitch, Discord, or Instagram from your Eric's 3D Services account only removes our copy of that connection -- it does not automatically remove Eric's 3D Services from the list of apps authorized on your Google, Facebook, Twitch, Discord, or Instagram account. To fully revoke that, visit the relevant provider's own settings:

  • Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access
  • Facebook / Instagram: facebook.com → Settings → Apps and Websites
  • Twitch: twitch.tv → Settings → Connections
  • Discord: Discord → User Settings → Authorized Apps

7. Data we don't control

We can only delete data stored in our own systems. We have no ability to delete, access, or control information that Google, Facebook, Twitch, Discord, or Instagram retain on their own platforms -- that data belongs to your relationship with them, not with us. Any request about what those companies store about you needs to go directly to them, through their own privacy tools and policies.
